Here is a rotating view of Greenland with no ice. You can see the cracks in the sides. How long before the glaciers grind open wide their paths to the sea ?

Try hitting the 'Esc' key, or the 'Stop' button on your browser to stop the animation when you choose.

I should say here that in addition to gnuplot, i used ImageMagick to construct the final animation. Vertical scale in meters. The regions depressed below the ice will gradually (1000-10000 yrs) rebound after the weight of the ice is removed.
